Liner Information: Your new accessories will come to you with a protective surface liner. Leave this liner in place until

the installation is complete to prevent finger prints and or possible scratches during installation.

1. Remove the factory air cleaner assembly sensor harness and lower air tube. This can be done by loosening the two

clamps securing the air tube and then pull up on the tube to release it from the two black plastic retainer studs that

protrude through the air tube side grommets. Then remove the two retainer studs by lifting the head of the

retainer. This is a small plastic nail that pierces the base of the retainer. Once this nail head is lifted the rest of the

retainer base will be able to be removed.

2. Place your new cover over the radiator and check the fit. (It may be necessary to form the cover by hand until it

fits flush without forcing it to lay flat to the factory cover.) NOTE: It will be necessary to slightly push down the

aluminum A/C fill line to achieve adequate clearance. Once you have achieved a nice contoured fit reinstall the

two stud retainers through the stainless cover back into the plastic radiator cover and then push the nail head down

to expand the stud which will secure the new cover in place.

3. Route the electrical wire connecter through the small hole provided in the new cover. Reinstall the factory air tube

by aligning the tube at both ends and then press down on the tube to snap the tubes grommets over the stud

retainers and then tighten the tube at the two clamps. Connect the wire at the air tube.
