Introduction: The raptor hood panel is a premium accessory that is made of #304stainless steel, for a lifetime of

durability and shine.

Liner Information: Your new accessories will come to you with a protective surface liner. Leave this liner in place until

the installation is complete to prevent finger prints and or possible scratches during installation.

1- The first thing you will need to do is to prepare a sturdy table with a soft blanket to relieve the hood. Mark the

bolt locations to the hood hinges by drawing their exact location onto the hinge plate with a fine marker. This

will allow you to reinstall the hood in its exact location after installation (#1). Detach the electrical harness from

its quick connect plug, with the help of two other people to hold the hood unbolt the hood and then set it onto

your table inside facing up.

2- Remove the hood pad if so equipped. And detach the marker light harness from the inner sub frame. This

harness is an unsightly electrical harness that will need to be re routed for a better looking installation. You have

been supplied with a length of red and black wire. Temporarily remove the bracket securing the grill to the hood

on the driver’s side and then drill a ¼” hole just behind the bracket mount location into the side if the sub frame.

This will allow you to work the new wire through this spot hiding its exit point. Create a fish line using a common

hanger wire. Manipulate the fish line through the small hole at the lower rear corner of the hood on the driver’s

side up through the sub frame and out the newly drill hole. Once this is done simply pull the red and black wire

provided, through and then cut the marker light harness and extend the harness using the four red tube crimp
